Agents

Your models, running on your own keys

Every agent pins one provider and one model to a system prompt, and Dave calls it with the API key you supplied. Seven provider types are supported, and you can mix them across a single workflow, so the cheap model does the sorting and the careful one does the drafting.

Prompt library

The wording that works, reused everywhere

Prompts live in a shared library with categories, tags and a search box, separate from the workflows that call them. A prompt can be a job to do or the criteria a review is judged against, so the sentence your team got right once becomes the sentence every workflow uses.

The three visible are Site Publish Payload Builder, which assembles an approved draft into the JSON body a site's content endpoint expects, Matter Naming Convention Formatter, which normalises client and matter names into a firm's file naming standard, and Conflict Escalation Gate, which halts an intake workflow and routes to a human whenever a conflicts result is anything other than clean and complete. Audit and compliance

An audit trail tuned to the standards you answer to

Base logging is always on and records every data change, sign-in and configuration change with the actor, the timestamp and the request behind it. Switching on the SOC 2 or GDPR mode adds the matching metadata to each event and turns on read-access logging for sensitive resources. These are product capabilities that support your own compliance program, not a certification of HelloDave.ai.

Security and deployment
The Audit Log settings panel, where a workspace chooses the compliance standards it has to meet. A Standard option is ticked and marked always on, covering data changes, authentication events, authorization actions and configuration changes, each entry recording the actor, a timestamp, an IP address and the request. A SOC 2 option, marked Type II, adds Trust Services metadata and read-access logging for sensitive resources, listing coverage of CC6.1 to CC6.3, CC7.2 and CC8.1. A GDPR option, marked EU, adds accountability metadata and read-access logging for user data endpoints, listing Articles 5(2), 15, 17, 30 and 33. A footer reads active standards, Standard.

Which AI models does Dave support?

Dave is model-agnostic across 7 provider types: OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, Google AI, plus OpenAI-compatible, local (Ollama), and custom endpoints. You can mix providers across a single workflow.

Is my data isolated and secure?

Each tenant is fully isolated with its own encrypted data and credentials. Secrets live in a per-tenant AES-256 vault, files are encrypted at rest, and every instance runs behind 18-step CIS/NIST server hardening.

Do I still keep humans in control?

Always. You decide the AI-to-human balance node by node, with approve/reject review gates and role-based task assignment so people own the decisions that matter.

How much does Dave cost?

Dave launches with a 30-day free trial for up to five seats. After the trial, pricing is one graduated seat scale: $20/month for a single seat, $50/month for two to five, and a flat $10/month for every seat after the fifth. That puts 10 seats at $100 and 25 seats at $250.

Do I need a credit card to start the trial?

Yes. You name your organization, choose a workspace address, and go through checkout when you sign up, which is where the card is collected. It is not charged until the 30-day trial ends, and an administrator can renew, update payment, or manage billing at any point before that.

How many people can I invite during the trial?

Up to five, because the trial covers five seats. Each pending invitation reserves one, so active users plus outstanding invitations cannot exceed your seat count, and revoking an invitation or deactivating a user frees that seat again straight away.

What do I need before I can run my first workflow?

One AI provider, one agent, and one workflow. An administrator adds a provider under Admin, API Management, Providers using your own API key, an agent pins one of that provider's models to a system prompt, and the workflow editor is where you draw the steps those agents run in. There is no infrastructure to stand up first, because Dave is fully managed, and most first workflows are built in under 20 minutes.

What happens when the free trial ends?

The free trial runs 30 days for up to five seats, and checkout collects a card at signup that is not charged until the trial ends. If it ends without payment, the workspace is locked rather than deleted: administrators are offered options to renew, update payment, or manage billing, and everyone else is told to ask their administrator. Paying restores full access immediately, and nothing is lost while a workspace is locked.
